@Giles @Appfaff , it was the V2 and I totally stand by the statement. Everyone should have a denim work shirt in their wardrobe, and this one happens to be the best around.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

I remember reading the article but I don't recall why this is #1. Why would you (yes, you personally) take a work shirt over a western? I recently got my hands on a 75, but I just think the 33 and 76 look better. I'm hoping the 75 will grow on me.

I will attest that this is easily the most "wearable" denim shirt IH has made. the 12oz fabric and brown stitching makes the denim on denim look not so uniform and the work shirt pockets make it look less "marlboro man" than the IHSH-33 does. Having owned a Large (grew out of it) and an XXL (shrunk out of it), I will be getting an XL when my "other denim shirt" collection dwindles down haha.

I would love to see the 14oz denim from the jeans made into a work shirt at some point. I got a pair of 14oz jeans (although they don't fit me haha) and the denim is unreal. I think it would make a shirt to rule all shirts. Tonal stitching would differentiate it from V1 and V2 of the denim work shirt runs.

Happened to two of the buttons on my hickory work shirt. Actually, one came off in my hand now I think about it.
I ended up reinforcing all of them.
                          Not ideal.

Yeah I've had issues with several of the buttons on my IHSH-95 as well. Same buttons and basically the same shirt.

It's an issue we have unfortunately had from time to time on some of our work shirts.  I still have not got to the bottom of how or why, but am going to bring it up with the .jp crew today…

I've had the same issue with mister freedom , sugarcane and flathead shirts….Maybe when sewing in production some buttons are just sewn a bit looser than others and certainly looser than a person focusing on sewing one button back onto a shirt. I've never let it bother me much, but would have been sad if I had lost one of the buttons

I actually have a hybrid Western/Work shirt. It has a western yoke, with work shirt type pockets, and snaps. Made by a co.called Schaefer Outfitters. It's a pretty heavyweight chambray.

I discussed this with the .jp team today. We have identified the issue.  It is caused by the button sewing machine not being set up correctly.  The factory is having the engineer from the manufacturer visit to fix the issue.  In the meantime, Haraki and the team in Japan and IHUK shipping guys will examine each shirt before it it shipped.  However, please note they the defect can be virtually impossible to detect in some instances, so some shirt may fall through the gap.  Once we have rectified the machine, Haraki will give me a further update.

Sorry for the hassle and the embarrassment from me and H.
