        Thanks G! Just saw your reply. I'll call when ready to order and see what you have in 666 that works for me.

        @Giles:

        @joephoto:

        is that the actual size before a wash,

        Yes, all measurements on thh website are pre-soak/wash

        @joephoto:

        And if they are a 41 to begin with would they stretch to a 42

        They may over time
        @joephoto:

        Would I be better off with a 38 and letting the stretch?

        Possibly…..

        My rule of thumb is that after soak/wash/stretch, you will end up with a waist between 1/2" and 1" larger than pre soak/wash

        Ohhhhhh that constitutional stitching!

          Fun to see the difference. Tried to get them similar in Exposure. The 6 days pictrues should probably be darkened alittle. I might fix that. :)….

              Sorry for the photo spam.

              These will probably only get moderate wear the rest of the DWC. They have entered a stage where they need quite a lot of maintenance IE repairs.

              Even my wife commented on them today. "Those jeans do not look that good anymore now".

              I love them though. Hard to take pictures that make them justice.

                    Those jeans are Grail status man! They should be framed! Send them to indigo proof if you want to get more wear out of them. Rain is top notch at repairs. She totally disassembles everything to fix the material properly then puts it back together.

I always wondered why some people have 5+ soaks with less washes on their jeans…i have never soaked jeans after the initial soak. Is it supposed to bring out more contrast or is the point to reshrink jeans that have been stretched?

                                  I don't have much really on the surface of them, so don't feel the need for a machine level wash. I threw some soap in the soak to help break up anything else and freshen them some. I really just needed them to shrink back though

                                    See I call that a hand wash, no soap=soak.

                                        I have pairs that have 30+ soaks, never used soap on them.  It does just ask you have asked, it brings the jeans back to their original pre-stretched out size.  It also helps with general indigo lose, along with more contrast on the wear points as everything stays in the same place.

                                        In my opinion anyway.
