      How'd you like it?

Two Hearted is always good, worth picking up a 6 pack of for sure.

Not sure exactly why, but this is one of my all time favorite beers.
It's one that I first tried when I was getting more interested in beer, and it's just always been great in my eyes.

Oude Tart is a great one.  Got a couple of those in my fridge right now.

(That said, Tart of Darkness is better…)

Not gonna disagree with you on that one. It's just been awhile since I've had a bottle of Oude Tart.

I had one of the biscotti variants, pretty good!

Brew Dog seem to re-discover their roots and pride when making their big booming aggressive special editition beers. Their standard retail beers just get worse and worse though. This one was clearly BA'd because it's the thing to do these days. It adds nothing to a thin, acidic, pointless brew.

This on the other hand was pretty good. Brewed using angelica and other herbs it was balanced, full, tasty and had just enough strange about it to make it a cut above.

People rave about Founders KBS and wait on line when it's released. Finally got to try some last year, and so wanted to like it. I found the 12% alcohol to be the dominant flavor. The most disappointed I''ve ever been with a beer that came with so much hype. My son loves it. Two other friends found it undrinkable.

Last years KBS was far less balanced than previous years. There are definitely better BBA Stouts though

Bourbon: because living in Kentucky just makes you want to drink

You just gotta age it for a year or so… But even then, there are far better alternatives...

I really should comment on all that beer:
The GP Baltic Porter was good, dry, old fashioned Porter.

The Spanish BA'd stout was nice, but the Brandy barrel version from a few weeks back was better.

The Cervisiam Jungle Juice was a DIPA, and was, well different. He dropped the malt when making it, so the hops comes through much cleaner, but the result lacks body and balance.

The Shipwreck was mental. I'll have to buy another bottle as I suspect its a better summer brew. There was also probably too much going on.

The Marriage Parfait may be a go to alternative to Tilquin this summer. Nice stuff.

The Tokyo Intergalactic Stout (brewed with jasmine amongst other things) was tremendous. Thick, rich, so well balanced.

The triple IPA was dissapointing. Lervig are generally good but this was ordinary for a ABV heavy triple IPA.

The KBS was nice for sure. Never had any before. But I'd agree with the other comments that it didn't live up to the hype.

The Kinn IPA was OK. German hops, but not an improvement on their more American styled Vestkyst.

Death from Above I've posted here before. It's yummy and the bottle is cool.

Tonight I'm tempted to drink my Nøgne Dark Horizon (5th ed.). I really should cellar it but there are still a few bottles left online so I'm thinking it fuckit. It's only $30 a pop [emoji15]
