I don't have the 12%+ vocabulary of a @Seul or a @emceeQ, but the bottle today had a noticeable bitterness which I felt balanced out the massive gravity and consequent sweetness. Some of the reviews note the huge sweetness, which is not my favorite taste, but I poured this vigorously into a barrell-aged specific glass and found a really nice bitterness which gave me soy sauce…and i love soy sauce, so I want to buy another 4-pack and do more "research".....

This beer has a unique taste, but this list might get something similar, I have only had a few of them so I can't make much of a comparison. But I think it is a delicious beer...

Nice and hazy, this was my buddy's glass from a breast cancer awareness event.  😉

Buddy brought back a can of Other Half Forever Simcoe. Absolutely delicious IPA.

Bruery Frucht: Boysenberry. Nice and tart, better than the cherry version.

Also opened a JK Nocturne, tasty as always.

Is it legal to ship beer? I might have try to order some of these beers. That vanilla stout looks mighty tasty.

                        That's complicated.

From a vendor to a customer, it's usually legal to ship inside state lines, but not always; depends on the state. Since you live in Pennsylvania, which has some of the weirdest alcohol laws in the US, I'm gonna guess no.  From a vendor to a customer across state lines, I'm pretty sure that's never legal.  From individual to individual, yes, but you can't use the USPS (they're prohibited by law from ever shipping booze).  You can sneak it, but if the postal service catches it, they'll confiscate the booze, and possibly prosecute you (but that's really rare).  Oddly, if the package originates outside the US, the USPS seems just fine with shipping alcohol.  I'm not familiar with the section of code that controls this, so maybe there's an exception for international transport.

Really, your best course is to shop around while you're traveling out of state. Every state has different distribution laws and local beers that have limited distribution, so the availability is always unique.

Dang, yeah PA frickin' blows. Thanks for the thorough response. I can maybe see if my distributior can get me some. They did get me a case of Skullsplitter from Scotland.

Yeah it cost $65 just to ship a pair of Beatle Busters to the UK. UPS was over $200. Thanks anyway Seul.
