I couldn't resist any longer! Size 31 en route to my house. The measurements look perfect except for the thighs which might be a little snug.
You will love them. You could have put a note in your order to have them send you the pair with the largest thigh. Shoot them an email and they can take care of that.
I did! I was back and forth with Lindsey via email the last few days. She was a huge help. I probably could've gone with a 32 but I was concerned the waist and seat would be too large. Fingers crossed! I have the UHRs and when I decided I needed more Iron Heart in my life I was going to go with the 21oz since they're the most breathable but then these were released and I was instantly drawn to them.

Thanks! I absolutely will. I'm rather short and not really into cuffing so I usually have to have my jeans hemmed to around 30-31" depending if I want some bunching up at my boots.

Thanks. You weren't kidding…these are definitely stiff and rigid. I was planning to keep these on the shelf for a while and give some negelected pairs some love but these are an instant favorite. It's going to be hard to resist wearing them. Anyone that's on the fence should really pick up a pair, the fabric is beautiful.

can anybody compare this denim to the unsanforized 18oz? less/more stiff? about equal?
I'm curious about this too as I don't own the other 18oz fabric but it looks killer as well.

Hello all, long time fan and lurker. I've wanted the 634 cut for some time and decided to go with these since it's a new fabric. I got them today and they're easily my favorite pair. The fabric is in a league of its own. They feel unsanforized to me. They're not like the 21oz, but they're still soft to the touch in a way, but still stiff/rigid. It's hard to explain haha.
Seriously, anyone on the fence, buy them. You won't be disappointed. This fabric is amazing!

Had the exact thought when I received my pair as they feel so stiff and crisp, you'd think they were a pair of unwashed, unsanforized denim. Curious how long it will take before they soften… The hue of the denim reminds me a bit of UHR as well.

I thought that as well about the unsanforized reference. when I took them off the first few days I thought damn…I might be able to stand these up on their own.
I also agree about them still feeling soft in a way. I honestly think every pair of IH denim I own has that same characteristic...tough but soft at the same time with some fabrics just being much softer than others. I don't know how IH does it. It has to be the cotton that is used or something..
