Damn, I Got Stopped at Security in Iron Heart…..

Here's my first airport x IH experience

Has anyone had trouble getting through the airport scanner while wearing Iron Heart denim?

I flew roundtrip from ABQ to Dallas wearing my SR's and was patted down at both airports. The two individuals who performed the security check said that the reason was probably my jeans. One was mumbling to himself, "These things are thick! They probably couldn't see through all these creases."

I got TSA pre-check for this reason. I fly like 20x a year. I also hike my pants up super high if I have to go through the portal. The worst is when I wear my overalls. xD

Last time I flew my Roy jeans set the alarm off, I think it was the lined coin pocket.
TSA guy was like "one too many rivets huh?"

I've flown in a pair of IH overalls once or twice, and they contain enough metal to set off the detector. :o

hmm not a problem for me… :-\ the stuff that i usually get pulled up for are belts, necklace etc.. usually metalworks. especially the samurai heavyweight belt with the huge buckle.

I was at the tournament in 2009, and its etched in my memory forever. Couldn't find a weed on the property, it was awesome.

Never played the course, or watched the tournament… Didn't even know where the course was until I was 19, lol!

We have a love-hate relationship with The Master's... Obviously it brings in lots of revenue for our city, but it shuts the damn place down for 2 full weeks! I The school board aligns spring break with it, so imagine being on break unable to do anything lol

I've gotten the pat down several times flying.

The 21/23oz UHRs show up as a big red blotch on their super fancy scanning machine.

Lined pockets get me an extra pat down each time. I've found uncuffing my jeans helps, but only a little. It's pretty much a given.

I'm TSA Precheck, and usually don't have a problem, once in a while get pulled over for extra sercurity , then get told I have too much starch in my jeans.
