The fabric on these is pretty tough, rigid, crispy…. not soft like the 21oz.  It's a bit fuzzy as well. I tried to capture that in some of the pics.  The feel of it reminds me a lot of the 19oz left hand twill V.2. but maybe a bit stiffer.  Very cool fabric which should set some nice whiskers and honeycombs due to the rigidness. Love these jeans.  Another job well done IH crew.

Yes the back pocket lining was a nice surprise when I received mine.  I wasn't aware they were lined.  It's probably in the product description but my ADD caused me to miss it I'm sure

I know I'm still probably in the honeymoon phase with this pair but this is really a great fabric.  Very happy to see that these are going to be Extant.  These should be an IH staple like the 21oz flagship IMO.  This is a jean that I will buy a second pair of in the future, much like the 21oz fabric and the 14oz fabric for that matter.

You will love them.  You could have put a note in your order to have them send you the pair with the largest thigh.  Shoot them an email and they can take care of that.

I did! I was back and forth with Lindsey via email the last few days. She was a huge help. I probably could've gone with a 32 but I was concerned the waist and seat would be too large. Fingers crossed! I have the UHRs and when I decided I needed more Iron Heart in my life I was going to go with the 21oz since they're the most breathable but then these were released and I was instantly drawn to them.

Thanks! I absolutely will. I'm rather short and not really into cuffing so I usually have to have my jeans hemmed to around 30-31" depending if I want some bunching up at my boots.

Thanks. You weren't kidding…these are definitely stiff and rigid. I was planning to keep these on the shelf for a while and give some negelected pairs some love but these are an instant favorite. It's going to be hard to resist wearing them. Anyone that's on the fence should really pick up a pair, the fabric is beautiful.

@manufc10 now that you've had them a couple weeks, are they starting to soften up and feel more like the 21oz, or are they still a totally different animal?
