Just got mine. I understand Giles boldness to declare it 21 oz+ initially. I think there is a large section in the front (from 6" below to 6" above knee) where the fabric is doubled - making it effectively 32 oz in this area. Considering the additional layers of fabric for pockets etc. it might actually be 21 oz+ overall
Don't sleep on this one if your size is still available. It's exactly what I was hoping for: the winter substitute of my olive IH-709. -

I know I say it everytime, but @D97x7 rocks the cargos like no one else. 100% perfect fit, and they look beyond awesome!
Everytime I see his pics I go to the product page, but then realize I would look more like the lead singer of Smash Mouth than anything else…

Weight loss making my 714's too big meant I risked the slimmer thigh on the 34 and took the plunge. I was also slightly sceptical of the shininess of the material as well as the fit, but no need. Because…
...these are just fantastic. The material is wonderful, amazingly tight weave and silky smooth. The shininess isn't a thing either. The top block and thigh is a bit more fitted than I'd normally have on this style of pants but fuck it. I love them.
Edit: This material would also make for a magnificent jacket.

Sateen is one of my favorite fabrics. I've always had at least one pair of OG107 type 1 fatigues kicking around, and my vintage M65 is on heavy rotation, too. I'd love to feel Ironheart's take on the fabric. Just wish there was another thing besides cargoes or the B-10. Though I will definitely admit to being tempted by both. Work pants out of this would be an instacop for me.
