      IH outerwear lacks a hanging loop… It's such a small thing, but maybe most people don't even think about it at all. At this point, I have five IH jackets/coats, and NONE of them have a hang-loop..... Any particular reason why?

      I see what you did there…... lol

                I think for some future products you could try crowd funding. You kinda do that already by asking retailers for their committment prior to a release, but why leave the public out?

                  Sorry, we won't crowd fund.  It's not what we do….

                        @Hematoma:

                        I know it's doubtful, but it would be awesome if IH might explore crowdfunding for products that are riskier (in terms of public interest).  I know there are questions of sizing inconsistencies/changes during production, but even if you produced extra, the upfront cost would be lessened significantly.

                        It has been proposed once or twice in the history of the forum and has been shot down everytime…

                              i would really love to see more long staple cotton denim…
                              my favorite denim of all time is the 19oz (RHT) loomstate used for SEXIH07/BK + SEXIHXINDO16 and there really doesn't seem to be anything else like it from IH or anywhere else for that matter.
                              the 19oz had that subtle-slub texture without streakyness or heavy loomchatter (of which haraki seems to be the absolute master at creating) and super smooth fading you see on something like the 21/23oz, but unlike the "windproof" density/stiffness of that denim - i can wear the 19oz in both summer and winter with ultimate comfort (just like it's sanforized sister the 21oz).

                              it would be cool if the descriptions listed what kind of cotton the various denims use (for instance Self Edge describes the NI 17oz as "mid-staple cotton" but AFAIK this site doesn't) and even better some indicator or measure of density ("breathability", etc).

                                  no clue… i usually just put my hand behind the fabric and blow on it, but that's obviously a metric that certainly wouldn't be easy to figure out and even if you did would be useless to customers... so point taken.

                                  i suppose the best way to try and describe such a thing is in the context of other IH denim... it seems in every thread about a pair of IH  jeans someone is asking "how breathable is this compared to 21oz?", etc.

                                      @Giles, you guys are back to using UPS?  Is this permanent?  UPS is super inconvenient and I preferred DHL.

                                        Yes.  Overall DHL were positively shite.  They lost more packages in 2 months than we have ever lost with UPS, they misrouted a massive amount of parcels, they consistently fed me bullshit which cost us $100's in charges we should not have been hit with, when they mis-billed me and agreed that they had indeed mis-billed me, told me to raise a case for a refund.  And to cap it all, I had to get on my bended knees to plead for daily pick up later than 14:00.  Oh, and their online shipping system is a heap of cow dung, that wasted us minutes per order.  It was not a very pleasant experiment…...
