My 10A CPO shrank considerably with s hot soak/hot wash/cold rinse. Also XL, it shrank about 1.25 inches in length at sleeves and hem. Because of the the tight weave of the canvas it is hard to estimate the shrink p2p, but it was "puffy" pre soak. I did do a damp wear also, and it is much more form fitting.
      Excuse the picture quality.

That's great to hear @ShootThePier .  What size do you wear in IH?  I just ordered an XXL and I'm glad to hear I can expect some shrinkage.

aweome fits @Anesthetist and @ShootThePier - after a few wears I may throw mine in a hot soak/wash as well and see what happens. I have room in the sleeves and body length as well as chest, so I should be fine to shrink it down. although the fit I have now can comfortably fit over UHFs and thick shirts, which may be what I'll use it for this winter and then shrink it down moving into fall.

@Broark - here are the measures of my pair of Anniversary Edition Naval Chinos in 2-tone khaki.
I put then in a cold "hand wash cycle" in the machine, line dry and warm iron to get them back to stock look. I feel they will shrink with a hot wash and dry. Based on the size chart on MFSC, mine should shrink down further than this with a longer wash and more aggitation.

            Waist: 36
            Front Rise: 13
            Back Rise: 15.85
            Thigh: 14
Knee (12' down from crotch): 10.35
            Inseam: 33
            Hem (leg opening): 9.75

If they shrink down to the MFSC size chart, mine would be ideal. I'd prefer the legs a little snugger and a little shorter.

I would equate that fit to my IH shirts in XL.

Thanks for the measurements @Appfaff , they look pretty good!
Still not sure which model I like more, they've both got their advantages.

I will say this… Christophe almost always releases an Indigo style chino pant or at least a variation nearly every season.

On the flip side, Khaki Chinos sell
Slowly so they may be around for a while lol

Heck, they still have the originals from 2008 in a sz 36 in the online shop.

Oh I should've been more clear, I'm debating these naval chinos and some khaki Sportsman chinos that I've found from a Japanese store that still has them in stock.
Both khaki, just not sure which pair has the details that I like more.

Ahh gotcha - I will add a kink in the mix and say the best bang for your buck is the Shipyard Chinos. Lightweight that you can wear them year round and a nice tailored fit 😉

But they do look pretty nice! Measurements look good too.

I wanted the Shipyard when they came out, but never got them since they cam out originally in December and they were too thin to really wear.  Mine are perhaps my most worn chin pants.  I have the blue so the details are more subtle. I actually love the patch pockets and the top block is phenomenal. They are my wife's favorite pants I wear.

Mine is looking good, although not quite as good as yours. Keep it up! Btw, I didnt hear a single complaint about the mermaids. Compared to how some folks were dressed, topless merfish were tame!

Hahaha I can only imagine the Disney outfits from others lol - I've spent some time in Orlando and wouldn't be surprised at anything haha

I too got my belt during the same Jcrew clearance. I think I paid like 17 bucks for it haha

Just got the anniversary peacoat dropped off a couple days ago. Wasn't sure if I would like the material. It turns out I really like it. The pictures on line don't do it justice.  They say it's not really warm enough for a winter coat, but I think with the blanket lining it's quite heavy and very warm.

@stickshift the lining isn't bad. I can feel it with a tshirt on but I wouldn't say it's irritating. Probably about the same as a sweater on the arms.
