Soooo.. if I understand correctly - the corresponding size in the IH-666S-14L will give me near approx post soak measurements?  So a 33 - post soak - in the 666R-14 will measure what a size 33 666S-14L does?  thanks!

@Giles  this is from the item description : "Raw so expect Shrinkage of approximately 1" in the waist and inseam, please look at IH-666S-14L (under related items) for approximate post-soak/wash measurements"  that must be where I got the "L" from.  sorry to nit-pick … just thought I'd let you know

The S and the R versions are exactly the same jean, it's just that the S has been one-washed.  If the S does not work, then the same size R won't either….

Based on the comparison to the IH-666S-14 the post soak length will likely be about 1.5", correct?  So if I wish to order hemming and hope to have a 30.5~31 length post soak, I should have you hem them at 32'?

Big thanks to Adam and Alex for finding a pair for me. These are amazing jeans and very comfortable. Very last minute purchase as a trip to Texas in the spring popped up and I needed a lightweight pair for the heat.

Well I’m not going to risk 25oz in April… in Texas. Getting them worn in on the beaches in England now

I wouldn't think so, since they've been sanforized.  I think the recommendation is to soak the UHR (ultra heavy raw).

Since it’s unwashed, you will get some shrinkage the first time you wash them, just not as much as you would get with raw denim. A soak won’t do much of anything shrink-wise IMHO, but it will help to get rid of the creases from where they were folded. I always at least soak everything for this reason.
