You won't be disappointed. I got the original one with the Liberty Cuffs when it was released. Still wear it pretty much everyday. I'll be getting the 10th anniversary one too. Backup is a good idea.

Jesus, $811 even from Japan? I hope this isn't a preview of what we will see the new collection costing. I've gotten used to the low Yen + American factory versions of a lot of his stuff.. not sure I could go back to the 2011 pricing days….

If you ever browse the DenimBro forum, there is a post with a link to the entire Toyo catalogue for AW16, with all of the prices listed (JPY prices), and they are generally in line with what past pricing has been. I think the biggest price increase is on the Mulholland Master, if I'm not mistaken.
My Anniversary CPO, including international shipping (And less 1,600 Rakuten points) came to a grand total of 33,069JPY, which isn't much at all. It will SURELY be more expensive outside of Japan tho, just as all MFSC items are.

The anniversary CPO is going to be $399 at MF website. Seems a little higher than usual but not too bad. Perhaps the whole anniversary thing has something to do with it also

I don't exactly know the price of the original run, but I imagine the pricing was similar… With 10yrs of inflation, for the price to still be hovering around the same place is impressive, actually. But, I would be happier if the JPY was as weak as it was this time last year tho, lol.

I'm sure you would, Boss man! But, luckily for me, I left Japan as the JPY is rising, and got here to the UK as the GBP is weakening. I know it won't last, but It's good enough for now! I'm just buying up as much GBP as I can right now. So far, I have enough to float all of my bills for a little over a year.

I agree, this isn't bad. I believe the original released for $389 or something like that (i could be wrong). Plus, he has more employees now, and the QC is, in fact, better now than it was back then, so I understand the pricing.

As hype as I am for the IH brown whip cord, I gotta stop myself, unless I can manage to sell something else to float it. Too much good stuff coming right now, and I can't get it all AND keep everything I have. I might even be passing on the Anniversary Peacoat… I won't make any rash decisions just yet, but that's what it looks like right now.
