This is the antithesis of a "creep up on you" beer! It is more like Thors Hammer.

These aren't creepers, but both good, yet very different.

More US profiles, so US beers 90, others 80-85 probably…

It's extremely solid, but the low carbonation, and rather high barrel sourness, would throw many a good folk off… I actually drainpoured some Tsarina Esra Reserva thinking it'd gone bad because of it... Takes some getting used to 🙂

They follow there own rules that gang, no doubt. I dig both the low carbonisation and the more outré parts of their taste profiles. Shame there's so few bottles of their beers about up here.

I peed myself a little when I saw some of these.

Some great stuff!.. Stay away from the BoonxMikkeller collab geuze though. The Black Label is the same beer and costs half…

Whenever I see new Belgian beers here I make sure to try them, so I picked up a bottle of Ondineke Oilsjtersen Tripel from KleinBrouwerij De Glazen Toren the other day. Might drink it tonight, depending how much I drink at trivia. 😛

I think I read somewhere that they have BA Ten Fiddy on tap? If so that could end very badly for my liver.

Came across two new to Texas Bruery beers, both are heavy hitters.

And tonight I'm drinking this tripel.
Quite nice, surprising how smooth at 8.5% ABV.
And it's getting better as it warms up!

Those are two Bruery beers I was eyeballing yesterday in their online store… If you come across Mélange 1, be sure to pick it up...
