Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades

My Dragonfly's G10 handle has the awesomest denim stains, I'll post up a pic after christmas.
And since we can talk about kitchen knives as well, my choice is Mac knives. I love the feel of the wooden handle and the weight distribution on these. Started using them when I was studying to become a cook in the early 90's and I still use my first Mac (a 20 cm knife) daily. Moved on to another career later but still love cooking!

No Doug that's a sword.
Nah, this is a sword:

Albion Gladius
Christian Fletcher scabbard and baldric.
Aero Barnstormer as well for those leather jacket fans out there. -
Throw in some jeans and some beer and you have the perfect pic!..
I'll get my 634Ss, and a bottle of Hobgoblin, then take it again.

It's nice but it is very small for my fairly large hands. It's pretty comfortable to hold but the blade feels a little short sometimes. The lanyard gives a bit of extra control, my pinky finger doesn't fit on the handle so it grips the lanyard. But hey, I wanted a small knife that would fit in the coin pocket and this sure fits the bill.
Kind of wanting a BM Mini Griptilian at the moment but it is a bit bulkier…

I have a mini griptilian. I've almost never had it in my person since it's very thick and I don't like to keep it in my pocket. The blade is very good and the opening/locking mechanism is maybe the best I've used. It's about three times as thick as Chive (edit).

EDIT: Not Chive but Scallion!
EDIT EDIT: I'm obviously a bit confused. It is indeed Chive, they're very much alike…
I just noticed that this guy sells custom scales to Mini Grips (among others):
Custom Scale Division

Vintage micarta scales on a mini griptilian. I can see the possibilities…

Sterling silver won't have the tension to hold a knife in your pocket. It'll bend too easily
Chris Reeve doesn't do collabs with two exceptions, and those two are very special exceptions: Harsey and G&G Hawk
That being said, I can arrange to have the IronHeart logo engraved into a Sebenza handle, but we're looking at about $450-500 for a large sebenza, $400-450 for a small, and money would have to come up front because I don't have that kind of money to float
I actually came up with the idea for a special run of IH knives a year or two ago, but Giles and I never followed through with it
I'll pitch it at Giles again and see what he thinks

reading the thread most people seem to have pretty legit reason for owning these things. i live in middle earth after all
