@Seul
I have ordered from craftshack.com a few times. Never had a problem.I may have a chance to go to Cantillon Zwanze Day on October first. I know nothing about Belgium beers. I have never tried anything from Cantillon. In addition to the Zwanze they will also have these from Cantillon on draft
Gueze 100% Lambic
Kriek
Mamouche
Iris Grand CruI thought I would ask an expert. Is it worth going to try these beers?
Thanks -
YES!!!

If you like sours: yes. I haven't tried a lot of Cantillon honestly because I end up trading them away most of the time… But he definitely makes solid beers...
I had already checked Craftshack... I guess it's a tad more difficult to find one big online store in the US that has all the rare beers, what with all the different laws in different states...

Craftshack has Allagash Curieux, 4-packs of Even More Jesus 16oz cans, Evil Twin Aus Mas Cafe, Goose Island Halia, Bruery Mélange 15, Russian River Damnation… This could get expensive
For now: a shitty, fresh Struise beer... Bought two to try it again, but I'll never like this one... Especially fresh... Struise beers need 6-18 months after being bottled to evolve... Always been my experience...

Resident Belgian beer expert @Seul , what's your opinion on Brasserie de la Senne?
JK posted on their blog that they actually got some imported and will be selling it at the brewery and was wondering if you had any thoughts on their beer.
I'm always trying to find new Belgian beers to seek out! -
A (nerdy) thing you can do, is check RateBeer (or Beeradvocate, either works) and write down the names of their best beers (or memorise the list, if your brain still works)… Or check the reviews and see what would probably be your thing... Just easier to avoid buying shitty beers/ potential fridge turds this way... I do this with every beer I buy these days by the way… Mainly cause I don't have the money or space to experience and go by instinct... Every brewery makes shitty beers, and most of the times if a store sells their best offering, they also sell their worst...
-
I just was wondering if you had any personal insight since it's a Belgian brewery.
Of course!.. I love to help in any way I can!.. Problem is the beers I wanted to recommend are retired… All I can recommend is Bruxellensis, and Brussel's Calling... This makes me realise I should try more of their stuff

Thanks guys. Gonna try to make it. Just starting to develop a taste for sours.
