Dstauffer, maybe you should have a look at the 2526J (IHJ-46 respectively)? They are lighter non-denim options of a type III. Needless to say they are brilliant as well.

I know that Giles said it did not sell well (which absolutely blows my mind as things looks fecking epic!), but that was like 5 years ago…perhaps there is a renewed interest now????

I know I would love to see this resurrected with some hand warmer pockets and the longer torso a la the 526L. The trio of colors is awesome but a dark brown would also be pretty sweet!

All of this of course is IMHO....

Maybe an indigo version would be feasible, with the current buzz for the upcoming western

The cord we are using for the western I don't think would be suitable for a jacket.  The cord we used for the 6526's was s double weave cord, so was massively windproof and very hardwearing, the indigo dyed cord we are using for  the western shirts is a single weave…..

The issue is minimums.  H (usually) designs the fabrics from first principles, thus the minimums are large.  It's not just a matter of popping down to Costco and coming back with enough fabric for 60 shirts…..

Don't know if this would be applicable to the IH brand, but if are throwing out ideas of what we would like to see made and would wear, I would LOVE to see an IH heavy weight hoodie in a classic camo pattern.

I have one that I have worn for years but it is definitely not a heavy weight cotton and is starting to get pretty beaten up.

Anyways, given the recent black hoodie release, I thought I'd throw this idea in the ring. Don't know if its feasible or it would even appeal to the IH audience, but I know I would wear the shit out of it!

I think you should put suspender buttons on all pants. They dont cause any inconvenience for those who dont need them while being a blessing for those who do.

Iron Heart Jeans has great beltloops, sometimes they are soon into waistband. Ever thought about a belt? They are available from IH, too…

Can´t imagine wearing Jeans with those extra buttons, must be super uncomfy when you wear a belt.

Suspenders buttons are definitely uncomfortable when you're wearing a belt.  I'd be surprised if even 10% of IH owners wear suspenders, too.
