@Appfaff  You're right - they do still look good as a loose fit.  The waistband just looks like the top of a burlap sack that's been cinched tight.

Well, @Jett129 @Mizmazzle the reason I was asking about hairline duck has arrived. In 17oz CPO form...@endo might be interested in seeing this. The fabric is bonkers and as stated previous, difficult to photograph. Here are a couple last light photos for now. I'll make a proper post this week. Pretty stoked about this piece my dudes.
