I'm starting to believe that even if this happened every single fucking day, nothing would happen. It's just that people kill people, can't do anything about that!

Well, depending on how you define a mass shooting, it's happened about every two days so far this year.  If we include suicides and non-mass shooting homicides, the average is more like several per day.

The most important thing about statistics it seems, is not becoming one. Unfortunately that is much easier said than done these days.  Glad my son is still too young to have to explain all this madness to him. I'm not wise enough to know how I fear.
