Sorry if this sounds stupid, are the SBGs using the same fabrics like 7301s?

      nope..

sbg stands for a new super black that fades to grey selvage denim - warp and weft black…

      7301 has white weft

      We can do anything

First of all, thanks G. for the super fast shipping (2 days from GB to Germany)!
I'm by no means a denim expert but the minute you get to touch this denim you realize that you bought quality. It's firm but forgiving, meaning that at first I was unable to button the last 2 buttons but after 30 minutes the problem was solved. As a reward, your fingers will have indigo stains but you won't notice it before you wash your hands. Was pretty cool  😉

Now to the fit! Well it's not desirable to say the least. I need them to stretch at least 1 inch in the waist and about 0.2 in the thigh area. Will probably take 1-3 days. It would be easier to exchange and go +1. But as stupid as it sounds, I don't want to part with them. I don't even care if they will ever fit me or not because I fell in love with them…

Here are the measurements for this explicit pair (and not all other pairs tagged W32)

          Tag size:    W32 L34
          Waist:        31.1
          Leg:          34.3
          Front Rise: 10.4
          Rear Rise:  15
          Thigh:        11
          Knee:        8.4
          Cuff:          8.1

Finally, I'd like to thank G. for the outstanding service and Beatle for her effort of making this possible. Can't wait for the OD version...

          Cheers,

          seren

Well this rises a question that I have been meaning to ask.
IF we assume seren did measuring OK, how common ist that the measurement vary, I think pretty much? I got also varying measuerements when I measured my 461's and 802's.
            Makes sizing darn challenging

Looks like the Busters are going to be like a co-dependant relationship.
You get hurt and feel pain, but their beauty and allure keeps you just wanting more and you can't let em go.

Jack, it does.  sorry.  If absolute accuracy of sizing is essential then ask us to measure you a pair before we ship.  We have no problem with doing this - it saves us all money and serves to piss you off less.

This stuff is hand made, there will always be variations in sizing….....

I have updated the sizing table.  I did measure these in exactly the same way as I measure all the jeans I have here.  However, as a number of people have had issues with them coming in a tad smaller that they were expectig, I have reduced the waist size in the sizing table across alll the sizes.  I think this will help….(I guess I must have been using the tape maesure that I use for measuring the size of the fish I catch......)    G

Check out the 34" waist size in 'inches' table, there's a mis-type.

OK, and good that measurements have been fixed. Noticed that to get my "normal" fit I have to size 2 up….If I ever get money scratched together. A bit higher rise is what makes these tempting as I don't want to show plumbers smile while riding my bike.

I went tts with the BB and they fit perfect.
They're tight but I know they're gonna loosen up just right.
The higher rise makes them supremely comfortable.
If you want a slim fit DEFINATELY go tts.
It would have been interesting to try a 35" if such a thing existed but I think they would eventually have loosened up too big.
                                  Hope this helps a bit.

Honestly guys, it wasn't my intention to question G.'s sizing table. I just wanted to share my experience and help others with sizing.

It's understood that you will find a variance in measurements. G. can only take a control sample and then calculate the arithmetic average. That is why I said "here are the measurements for this explicit pair and not all other pairs tagged W32".

Nevertheless, I'm happy with the purchase and it is very likely that I will buy the OD version as well (unless I'm broke)…
And G. thanks for your confirmation. Like I said, I reckon with 3 days..

Just received mine this afternoon. If I wasn't wearing the King of Jeans (the almighty SR), I would have tried them on at the office. I'll wait until I'm home. I like the stitched piece of fabric on the back right pocket… Nice detail.  And ARE THEY DARK!!! Cant even imagine what the OD's are going to look like!

Darn - I received the Buster in my actual waist - size 30 - and hell, I'm not kidding you - love them.

Since this is the first and only pair of the official run - I can only second what has been said. True to size will be super snug in the waist - but after a week will be like one of those jeans that you never want to take off.

One size up will give you an overall somewhat relaxed but still slim fit. Thanks, Haraki-san and Lord for making these..
