If I was Sam then I'd be considering a subtle, raised middle finger, accompanied by a sneer on his otherwise cherubic features , right about now

I do that because concealed in one of my hands is a remote for the camera. The quickest and easiest way to hide it is to make a fist and i'd look even more daft with one clenched and one not. I'll practise my slight of hand to see if i can hide it in a less aggressive manner.

@Sam why not just use the timer with remote trigger? It's what I used to do. Still hit the button and all that, gives you either 2 or 10 seconds to put shiz in your pocket.

That's what i do do… I have 2 seconds but i'd rather not faff around trying to hide it in a pocket.

I'll try looking less "aggressive" in the future.

Very true. High here today is 86 degrees fahrenheit (30 C) and I haven't worn any UHFs in awhile.

I've been doing work for an agency whose client is allegedly a fintech startup, however they don't have anyone with a technology background on staff, and are subcontracting that part of their operations.

Said client isn't happy with progress, which is largely down to them not giving me a specification to work to. I reckon the project's got another couple of months work (spread across two developers), but they've spoken to a different agency whose initial estimate is that it can be done in three weeks. The net result is that we might be dropped, payment withheld, and so on.

The thing is that three weeks isn't feasible. Development teams don't scale linearly (if you add more people you need more management, hence the output per person falls), and it'll take that long to get the app tested by Apple for inclusion in their store. So the other agency's sales pitch is being used as an excuse to screw over the people I've been working for.

I can understand not missing LA as I didn't think much of it when I have visited, but the Southern California weather I gotta say I liked.
