What's your favorite Beer?

A couple of recent ones.
Not bad, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to get it again. Less root beer-ish than I expected, also less porter-ish.
Now this one is good. I really like Cascade beers.

@Broark my boss lives in Chi. I'll ask him Monday. He's pretty deep into the craft beer thing.

Just did the Massachusetts beer pilgrimage. Treehouse, then some BBQ, liquor store, then out to Boston for Trillium and Night Shift, then Moes Tavern to cap off the night with a BCBS and an Alla gash Triple
Nice work…whats the other Treehouse you managed to get? I see triple shot...I want to make it up there one day
Damn, nice haul!
Anyone familiar with the Chicago beer scene?
It's looking like I'm going to be up there in a couple weeks, so if there's anything I shouldn't miss out on let me know!I just went in November and I would recommend finding a good tap house. When I went we went to Local Option, they always have a great selection and its a really unique bar. Brewery wise, Half Acre and Revolution are solid. We also made the trip down to Three Floyds which I recommend, it's only 45 minutes from the city (if you have a car). Also, might be worth going to Goose Island Clyborn (original location). They put bourbon county on fair amount from what I heard. And bottle shop, Beer Temple. Hope that helps a bit

Gotcha on the Saison, thanks Seul! It was a table share and one I've never seen before. Admittedly I know little about Sours, Saisons, etc but I'm trying to learn.
From TH they had Bright, Double Shot, and Drive Train. The Triple Shot was from like a week prior that we all shared after lunch. If you haven't been to TH before plan on getting there EARLY. If you go on a Saturday hit me up, I may go out too.

Not really my preferred style, but pretty drinkable, nonetheless.

Had one last night Chris. Btw I'm doing that overdye project we talked about as I type. Finally got a galvanized tub this morning. Drinking a Heady whilst boiling, of course.

@broark so I asked about some good Chi spots. For brewery there's obviously the Goose Island Taproom. Right over the border in IN he said 18th Street Brewery has good beer and great food. Non brewery he said check out Maria's or Fischmanns Hope that helps!
Edit: Also it would be interesting to check out Gibsons which is always on the show The League. Always wondered if they actually film there.
