type I,II,III jackets in lighter fabrics (14oz)… no matter if indigo, sbg, sb, od or even duck and what else is there.

I'm sampling in 17oz natural indigo/organic cotton Type III…...And a limited edition black overdyed Type I out of the same denim is entering production any minute....

sounds good to me…would even sound better when you´d be sampling them as "modified" versions?! 😉 @Giles

since the climate change daily, and it´s getting warmer and warmer even in the winter months, what about some lighter "flannels" released in those great patterns (such as the ones coming up)?

during these days it´s hard to wear IH outerwear combined with an UHF without having the urge to take off the jacket cuz of a heat wave going on under it (at least here in switzerland and in germany), so a lighter shirt (with uhf pattern), would be the way to go under a thick ass winter jacket…

            I completely agree. Brilliant ideal.

It'd be possible, but 14oz is a big step for us.    Lets see how that goes, before getting "exotic"…

17 oz Type III sounds great. I hope this one happens. and +1 on midweight Shirts. Something along the 37, but not as thin as the 24 would be great.

Ooh, what would I like to see you make?

Jeans with the same measurements that the IH-634-XHS have (I applaud the high rear rise and low front rise combo), but with a slightly narrower leg opening in the larger sizes and a lighter fabric than the 25oz. They could be worn as slightly dressier jeans than the 1955 cut, the only other high rear rise/roomy thigh jean you currently sell.

I'm biased, as they have the room in the thigh and seat to suit my muscular lower body (thank you rugby, weightlifting and badminton!).  If I hadn't bought the 1995 cut or the IH-634-XHS  (I got the 1955S), I was literally out of jeans options unless I got them made to measure or tailored in oversized waists.  I lost about 6 hours in a huge shopping mall in the UK in November trying and failing to find any jeans that fit.  Slacks are easy to find as thighs have more room, they taper, and in 36inch waist it's normal to find a 11/17 front/rear rise combo. Shorts of mine I've measured also tend to have those rises.

Thanks for listening, and keep up the good work!  🙂

If my above suggestion doesn't find favour, this would work too.  Especially if the rise in 36 waist is close to 11/17  😉 😉 😉

It's not about finding favour, it's about juggling what scarce resources we have; loom, time, production line time, H and the crew time, storage space and having a small enough range of products that ticks as many boxes as possible.  If I polled 100 people and asked them what cut do they think I should make, I'd get 101 answers.  I have to make some decisions on how to reduce that 101 into something a little more manageable….

Make what sells, mate, goes without saying.  I didn't mean find favour like "do me a favour", just if I was lucky the idea I liked made business sense.  There's lots of 'trendy' slim options going at the moment, but not a similarly styled alternative for the bigger boys who don't fit those.  Ideally other sporty/highly active/stocky people would have similar needs to me, but maybe I'm not a regular enough shape to demand a killer pair of jeans.  You're almost there with a few cuts, just trying like everyone else to nudge you in a certain direction.

By the way, how did the cut of the 634-XHS end up so much roomier in the seat/rear rise than the rest of the 634 family?
