I like the Prairie. Problem is I can only have 1-2 before moving on to something lighter. Agree with the wallop.
This is a pic of the recycle bin last weekend. Favorites on top.

Oh for fucks sake. Also boner-inducing. You're such a tease Seul.

Btw i'm going to the monopoly tomorrow and I'm going to see if I can pick up some of that 3 Bean Stout for you.

To be honest Giles, that stuff is so good I'd buy it if it was called Cockwombles Bumsnot.

The Idjit's pretty tasty. There's also 1/2 Idjit but I went full Idjit cause if someone's entitled to, it's me.

This afternoon, whilst watching the Belgian Championship cyclo-cross… Great 4.6% beer!..

Yesterday, I shared a bottle of Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer Rood 2012 with my dad… Seriously mindblowing evo... One of the best blond beers I've ever had...

Today, again at my parent's, I opened a bottle of Fantôme de Noel 2015. Stellar. Had a couple of fresh Fantômes recently, and this one blew 'm all away... Brilliant 10%, dark saison...

Not as delicious as seul's beers, but it a lovely Belgian strong ale, and I got them four a great price…

i don't mind it either. Sweet and Belgian yeast are the dominant flavors for me, the sweetness is pretty strong for its abv. But it's a nice change of pace from my heavily hopped ipa's

I rarely touch beers that are too heavily hopped up these days, too many bad IPA's using strong hops to cover all other flavours in the brew.

I think that's one of the reasons so many new breweries make IPAs- a ton of hops will cover lots of flaws.

Yep, and lots of people who think that craft beer is just about hops are fooled into drinking some really average beer because of it.
