Superblack has black reactive dyed warp and weft.  Thus will not fade
SBG has black reactive dyed weft and black sulphur dyed warp (which will fade)…

Decision made.  As we are releasing an SBG version of the 666, the SB version will not be re-run.  I have placed them on the endangered list…

Any idea when the 666 sbg will be released?

It's been a while…time for an update on my SB work pants

They still look black just not superblack

I decided to give mine the hot wash treatment (30 minutes at 90 Celsius) after having pretty great results with my ihsh-85. They shrank an inch in the waist and two inches in the inseam. Here are some after shots.

But there was a casualty…

I'm pleased with the shrinkage and I think these are going to get worn a lot more now.

Well, this might be a bit late for some folks but just in case…

• As I mentioned in another post, I am a true waist size 31 (15.5").
• In most IH denim, I wear a 32 based on personal preference for fit (e.g. some room in the waist).
• In most IH denim, the downside of a 32 for me, is the fit through the legs is a bit roomier than I'd like.

I recently picked up a pair of these (666SB) in a 29 and the fit is perfect for what I was looking for. No problems buttoning, top block was initially a little snug but loosened really quickly. Within a few days, fit was very comfortable. The measurements provided by IH, are spot on.

• 29 in these will fit like a 31, over time.
• 30 in these will likely fit like a 32, over time.

Just my findings but likely vary per body type. Hope this helps.

I bought the last one in 33 and it arrived today.

Wow! What a great pair of jeans! I am really looking forward to a warm/hot wash to shrink them a bit and then having the leg resized so I can start wearing them properly.

Passive-aggressive note: it is a shame that these have been replaced by the zip version. Am I alone in not wanting jeans with zips?

In a small enough minority for me not to get enough interest from retailers to do a rerun.  So rather than doing nothing, I took the zippered version that is sold in Japan.
