I bought my GR1 earlier in the year, and paid the full duty importing it into the UK, (which stung a bit), but given how well the bag meets my needs, and how long it will last, I've accepted that additional cost, and will probably buy a large GR2 at some point next year. Would be great if they had a UK stockist though [emoji3]

I think @Megatron1505 can perhaps add some feedback here…

Great bags, difficult to deal with if you want to retail. One partner says yes, other partner says no….. communication not their strong point. Great bags though, love my GR-1.

Would be great to see these available in Europe. I take it you tried to get them onboard then?

Shame that. Bet Giles could get them onside 🙂 Would be a tasty addition to the IHUK roster.

Won't happen.  Too much else to juggle with and there are some things I just don't need to get diverted trying to do.  And really, my absolute main focus has to be on Iron Heart, perhaps more so this year than ever before.  Demand continues to grow, but we have some serious supply issues we need to resolve, I have to help get that fixed.

Oh BTW, I will be doing some Good Art stuff very soon….

-edc - little large for now but use it anyway
-ruck - load to 25-35lbs for am walks (5-10mi) through neighborhood.

Great bag design and pleased w it but would prefer the 1000d cordura better.  Once i start new job and get in the black, want a Goruck GR0 for wk.

Awesome that you have a Kifaru. Always been intrigued as to what they are like, as they are bloody expensive to get in the uk.

Any particular reason why you want to up to the 1000d cordura? I only ask because I havent seen that much practical difference in the packs that I have and I know that Mystery Ranch also use 500d.  Just be interested to hear your thoughts.

Also, Goruck do seem to be doing more regular sales these days and the GR0 seems to be typically included.

Agreed, 1000D is awesome because it's bombproof, but it's also inherently heavy and dries slower. Not my ideal if I'm on the move and speed is important to me.

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

Ended up picking up a GR2 34L over xmas as a travel back. The Briggs and Riley backpack's TSA approved section ended up giving me the shits as the TSA never accepted it as approved… should get a chance to give it a work out over Jan...

So far it's been the perfect bag to travel with @ airports, and use as a day bag for the office. It's also been enjoyable to use as a laundry bag as it can hold so much. Contented hopefully finally for a long time!

I have a Kifaru E&E and it is probably my all time favorite day bag. It's light, stable, modular, and can be carried like a sling within seconds. It's small, but usually it's all I really need.
