      @Max:

      Beautiful! I take it that the fades on the lower back are as a result of rubbing against a satchel etc?

      Love the evo on it. You must be very pleased!

        I am , I absolutely love the fabric and the jacket. I have to drive in my car at least 1,5 hours per day, that might cause the rubbing on the back.

                  @Finn666 et al.:  How much does the DD shrink<–>stretch?

                  I'm stuck right between two sizes, trying to figure out how to play this.

                    tbh. @Chain$titch i´m not a big help right here, since i haven´t worn mine that often and i haven´t washed it as well. but i´d say, if in doubt, go with the larger size. i wouldn't want to wait for any stretching and if you think it´s too big, you can always try to shrink it down a bit.

                      Great looking pictures from everyone – just went through all the pages!  I have a Self Edge SEIH22Type III (20 oz.), which is also very dark, heavy, and stiff, but am tempted by the IHxVS-T1-DD.  Simple and classic with interesting details (e.g., buttons).

                      I'm a 44 in the Type III (not unlike the IH-526L Lefty Trucker) so would guess I'd be a 44 in the Type I.  For those who have washed theirs, are you seeing a bit of shrinkage?  I'm a little concerned the size 44 sleeves will be long but if they come up a bit, it should be fine.

                      John

                        I had 0,25" shrinkage on the sleeves after two hot soaks.. Mine is a size L

                          I gave my jacket the first gentle machine wash, insideout and in a bag (and I did some handwashes before), but still got some washing marks. I hope they'll even out over time…

                                      Thanks, the pin is a catch from a US friend dealing with antique Rodeo Stuff and Cowboy gear.
                                      That one is really used as a cowboy jacket. Love the boxy fitting in the saddle as well!
