I think the smaller one looks best, but pretty sharp either way.

I think larger is going to be the only practical choice if you want to layer heavy shirts or hoodies underneath.

Dang @footandmaff - another PERFECT fit. the beige collar really pops against the Navy fabric. Enjoy getting some great wear out of it!

I'd go with the larger size.

              Indeed.

+1 for the larger size. Great cop. I❤️ this jacket. More pics and I just might cave.

                Cheers! 

My very first IH arrived today - so exciting! I'm usually a ballpark L but I went XL so that it would let me layer as necessary. The only issue I have is that the sleeves are pretty long - maybe by just over 1"..does anyone know any good alteration services? (gasp)

Live with it for a while, use the storm cuff to ride the sleeve up and see if it gets better when the elbow creases form….

I had a go at that, seemed to work - just wasn't sure about the amount gathering on my upper arms. I'll give it some time and see before I do anything, thanks! 🙂

What are you think? Sleeves are a bit on the long side..

To me the larger one is better. Allows layering still looks sharp. The sleeves is not an issue. They will crease over time and should get a bit shorter. When over a heavy jacket, they will go up a bit as well. It's a matter of personal preferences but I love this exact length for my jackets and even shirts. I'm in love with my two recent shirts, one of them I posted.

Therefore  I ordered one Size smaller also..

It is a bit tight in the arms..

Lots of this. Especially if you aren't planning on layering much.

Or, you decide for the vest (IHV-22) .. and the sleeve problems are over.  😉
But - it could be a bit frosty in the next months.
