^^  Yep … the body is also a tad roomy.
I would go one size lower.

Haha it is a bit stern looking isn't it. I wondered why people were crossing the road when they saw me.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Couldn't be happier though—despite what my face is saying.

It is a bit tight in the arms..

Go with the smaller of the 2.  I'm desperate for more Larges, not mediums…. 😶 😶 😶 😶

The larger one looks better lengthwise, but the arms are way too long. Have you tried a heavy flannel underneath it? Makes some difference on my pretty tight IHM-04.

Dang @footandmaff - another PERFECT fit. the beige collar really pops against the Navy fabric. Enjoy getting some great wear out of it!

+1 for the larger size. Great cop. I❤️ this jacket. More pics and I just might cave.

My very first IH arrived today - so exciting! I'm usually a ballpark L but I went XL so that it would let me layer as necessary. The only issue I have is that the sleeves are pretty long - maybe by just over 1"..does anyone know any good alteration services? (gasp)

I had a go at that, seemed to work - just wasn't sure about the amount gathering on my upper arms. I'll give it some time and see before I do anything, thanks! 🙂
