Hahaha!!! That's dedication right there.
Got up at 5.30 am in order to be able to quit work early… Mate picked me up at my store at 10.30. Drove 100 kilometres. Visited store. Drove another 130 kms. Visited Deconinck. 80kms home.
Best 6 hours spent. My attorney advices me not to mention how much I spent reason being I could be declared "officially and completely out of his fucking mind"... My mate spent twice as much as I did though... He drove well for being strapped in a straightjacket...

@Seul I like red-brown ales like Duchesse de Bourgogne and Rodenbach Grand Cru. Can you recommend anything else in a similar vein?

I've only seen the first series (some time ago too) so I've got some catching up to do. Matt Berry is great, I loved the Mighty Boosh too, even went to a live show about 10 years ago!

Maynard Friedman: the only one I can come up with is Struise Ypres and Ypres Reserva, and The Bruery Oude Tart… Not a style I'm all that crazy about tbh...
Right now... A new iteration of an old fav, the Liquid Confidential... Imp stout made with chilis, this particular is rum barrel aged... Brilliant...

Thanks Seul, I did a bit of research too and have come up with the following (accessible to me) bottles: Oud Bruin and Aged Red from Petrus plus a Lervig x Redchurch Softly Softly - a collaboration between a Norwegian and a UK-based brewery.

If you would like a box of different styled beers to get you through the depressing "festive" days, just let me know, MN… Have lotsa beer, lotsa boxes, lotsa packing material, and would love to ship to a fella I haven't dealt with to date (but whose sense of humour has made me fall in love with him a long time ago)...
