Trying to decide on which size to get.  Anyone have any results from a soak or wash.  The work-shirt version seems to be getting less than stated, just looking to see if thats true.

I don´t think I can ever wash my L so cant help you.

It came in too small by these amounts: (basically my washing buffer)

Shoulders: -0,3"
Chest: -0,4"
Sleeves: -0,2"
Length: +0.1"

Other then that its a sweet shirt, substantial, less crazy contrasty irl. Beautifully put together. IH soft and nice.

Just out of curiosity: what can you tell me about the dyeing intensity? In other words, do the yarns have white cores and will the shirt fade with a high contrast? Or will it just gradually dull in color? Or is the fabric dyed clear through to the core of the yarn meaning it will almost never fade??? Just wondering how this shirt will age over the years as it seems likely to have a long life as do nearly all Iron Heart items. Thanks!!!

Harley, both the weft and the warp are rope dyed (something missing from the description, so I have updated it), indigo rope dyeing leaves the core of the yarn white.  It'll fade like a 12oz version of these…

Have just got it. The fit is spot on, the body length is a bit long but I haven't soaked it yet. The shirt is great, not so thick. I like it.
Took two days for it to get from GB to Moscow. Very quick.

@Giles great images and fantastic answer! much appreciated! the replacement shirt arrived yesterday - gave it a good long warm soak and it came down to the size I need.  I may soak again to see if a bit more can come up in the sleeves. This shirt is wonderful and with those fades in its future it will be in high rotation this year !

Really interested to see how this denim evolves in shirt form. I rotate my shirts so often, they don't get enough wear to fade noticeably. I'd like to see what happens to this when worn daily.

Been wearing this for a couple of times. This surprised me by being really soft from the start! Washed it to get some shrinkage and it really shrinked some amount.
Now to the fading.. this seems to fade really fast. There is some fading popping out everywhere. Really great piece.

I dont have any pics but you can see from the pic of Roma that the threads arent screaming orange/yellow as some of the productionpics shows. Im working in IT office and can totally wear this on casual friday.

Mine is fading very fast from washing, but it takes too long for me to fade in between washes before it gets dirty/smelly. It has developed some babyfades on the arms-creases but Im just gonna wear and wash as normal.

It fades to white kinda fast on the edges, like the very point of the cuff for example.

Its one of my favourite shirts.
