Should we expect shrinkage on these? Alot/minimal? I live in Okinawa, so I already have my R/B and G/B through Rebirth, and they seem to have sewn up small… I'll be fine with MINIMAL shrinkage, but anything more than .5" in the sleeves or 1" in the chest would kill them for me

With normal washing (30°C or 40°C) you should loose 1cm in p2p and length, but when in doubt size up if you can (I know G/B is already sold out in most sizes at Rebirth), I usually buy XL and my normal size is L.

You will get some shrinkage, not a full size, but it's safe to not aim for a snug fit from the start away.

1cm is negligible….. Plus, they're already here at my house, lol.

Yeah, minimal shrinkage on 30/40°C, a little shrinkage on 60°C 🙂

I was between L and XL in the 72/87/101. My L 72 looks good with sneakers but too short with boots because of the sole. The 87/101 I bought in XL, washed em hot and they look great 🙂

You'll find that they don't take up smell easily, so you could get away with handwashes or cold washes without spin. This should reduce shrinkage to a minimum.

I'm rethinking my stance on these, trying to decide between green or red and red is currently winning.
General rule of thumb is to take the same size between work and western, correct?

Keep in mind, there are more reds out there than green (20,72,109,127). There's a better chance to get a red second-hand. But as I prefer the red out of all my flannels, I know what you mean.

Regarding sizing: with the 101, i would have adviced to size up one from the workshirtsize. But as we don't know the exact measurements of These, I'd not wager a decision yet.

Greens are selling fast, even through the Japanese vendors that I have access to…..

I recommend anyone who wants one should get it and not think twice if your size is available.

We are still hoping to get the shirts on Monday.  And of course, if we do, they will go live at 16:00 British Summer Time.  If there is any delay, we will announce here.

It's likely to be a shit storm.  I sent an update email to 180 individuals this morning, who had completed the "tell me when back in stock" form.

Didn't see it in this thread, but in case I missed it - these are the same fabric/build/details as previous years' Ultra Heavy Buffalo (72, 101, etc.)?

                                    Thanks!

I know it's probably too early to ask this question, or possibly redundant to what's already been discussed, but do you think the call is to stay true to my IH size, or size up for this one? Sorry for the annoying question, i'm sure all will be revealed soon enough! thanks.

Without measurements it's impossible to tell. I have many IH heavy flannels and would say if you are between sizes size up. You can usually expect 1/2 size shrinkage if you wash/dry them
