Thanks guys, I get the picture. Small brewery, small runs. I hear so much about these two brands and Prairie at least has made it to some Euro countries. The state run monopoly in Norway which is the only way to get alcohol over 4.7 abv is actually a fantastic organisation that manages to get hold of quality beverages from around the world. We get great stuff from pretty much anywhere either in the local store or available from online lists. So I'm a bit spoilt really. It'll turn up one day.

Fullers is really consistent quality for one of the larger breweries @Seul
I picked up these on the way back from holiday..highlights were the Prairie Bible Belt and Mikkeller Brunch Weasel.
If anyone is ever in Canterbury there is an amazing beer shop at "The Goods Shed"

Just started the weekend with this. Specially ordered, this is Nøgne's version of a Belgian classic…

Fair bit of sherry… But still good... How is the Oud Bruin?..

A bit meh to be honest. Authentic aged bruin taste which is nice. Boozy (it's 7%abv) and vinous. A bit too flat at the end to be well balanced. One of those where you suspect they had more fun making it than I am having drinking it.

That Special Holiday Ale is great, Aetas. Personal fave.

Here's some more Nøgne. This one's a doozy. A collab Impy Stout called M.O.L.E.  Practically no head, thick and sticky and damn tasty. Great stuff.

Haha… There  you go! I had to special order this and you pick it up in Deutschland 😃

This one will age well, no doubt. Probably last beyond those four years on the bottle. I almost never manage to cellar things though. I have a very small collection of 3 bottles laid down. They're all drinkable now, so I have to remind myself all the time that they don't exist 😉

Right now I have about 8 cases and some big bottles at my mate's cellar… But now I'll have my own cellar, so it will be much harder not to touch it...

Carrying on from last night in the same vein… This is a beauty. Comes in 330ml bottles and abv of 12.5, it must be the perfect dessert stout.

It's been matured for three years already and has the freshest, cleanest, strongest zing of whisky I've had from one of these whisky barrelled imp stouts. Amazing stuff (and I'm very happy to have two more bottles).
