Unfortunately #1 did not work out for @dudewuttheheck .  So it's up for grabs at USD1,000.  XL.

Thanks, unfortunately everything is perfect apart from the sleeves that are a good inch to short for me…

Has anybody got any advice/opinions on sizing for this jacket.

I'm 5'8" and I was thinking of ordering in the following measurements

                    Waist - 38 inches
                    Chest - 41 inches
                    Shoulders - 18.5 inches
                    Arm -  25 inches
                    Back - 26.6 inches

The main area of concern in the back length and arm length. I've measured the back from one of my coats from where the back and the collar meet. This means the bottom would rest at the same level as the top of my jeans back pockets. Some of the pictures in this thread have them being worn about an inch longer.

                    Any advice would be helpful

                        Hi,

Does anyone know how long it takes from order to delivery? I ordered about three weeks ago. Do I have much longer to wait? The suspense is kill me, I cannot wait until I get my jacket.

Hi, what's the average thickness on the leather for this jacket?  In the natural if it makes a difference.  I've seen a few people refer to it more as a shirt, I like how it looks but would want it to be 1.3mm or greater.

I'll ask the question.  It feels like a jacket and whoever refers to it as a shirt simply has no idea what they are talking about…..And probably has not even seen/touched/wore one....It may look a bit "shirty" but it's a jacket....

It was me referring to a leather shirt for j100s used by dirtracers back in the 50s 😉 i was not talking about the IH take being a shirt

                                  Cheers,

I misunderstood then, thank you for clarifying about the shirt comment! Still interested in the thickness though, thick enough leather has saved my skin a few times in crashes so I pay attention to it.

Simmons Bilt tend to use 3 oz or 4 oz leather. There's about 0.4 mm to an ounce, so I'd expect somewhere between 1.2 and 1.6 mm thickness.
