After being told at the end of January that I was being made redundant, I've just signed the contract for a new role with the same company, just 3 days before the end of my notice period [emoji3]
The new role is a promotion, but also requires that I be site based, so I'll be commuting to Germany (and occasionally Norway) on a weekly basis, which means learning how to make better use of time at home with my family on weekends -

Just because I'm so happy to finally be done with my biggest leather project to date, I thought I shout it from the rooftop in the Random Announcement Thread!
Here's my new briefcase: It's made with an entire side of Horween Latigo in Rio, and all of the straps are made with Black Chromexcel. It's made with over 300 feet of waxed poly cord (thread) and stitched entirely by hand.
