Gratified to have found a couple fellow Bayern haters here. Cheers, guys!
I wish them a real "package" tomorrow….(evil grin)... -
Last night @Madame Buttonfly and I went to see a real game of football. none of this noncey Champions League crap. Yes it was Gosport Borough playing Sholing in the final of the Hampshire cup. It was played at Fratton Park, home to Portsmouth FC.
Paula's classy half time tipple…
We won 3:Nil…
"We know who we are,
We know who we are,
Champions of Hampshire,
We know who we are" -
oh wow. the pitch looks like shit. hard to believe they were a top flight club given that pitch condition.
-
Looks like a great night of real football, I'm considering handing in Toon support and moving just over the bridge to support Gateshead until such a time that Newcastle feel like being a football club again….not holding my breath

Yup, it's a long term punishment I've endured since childhood. I actually write for The Mag, but I won't link you to my articles as they have the habit of getting me death threats

Revenge is a dish best served repeatedly. Bayern will be destroyed.

Messi's second was fantastic.

Yeah, it's hard to shake off the affliction, although they're doing their level best to cure of it this season. Again.

Very satisfactory night, there's no sweeter sight in soccer than to watch Bayern lose.
Many happy returns! -
All hail the dark overlord and his staggering mismanagement of what used to be a football club

To be honest, I am a fan of Pep. However, his concepts need to change as he is managing a different team with different strengths, weaknesses, and qualities. He cannot impose the style of Barcelona during his tenure on a completely different team.
You can still play a possession-heavy style, but there should be some significant differences than the way Barca played previously.
After all, during Pep's time at Barca, Vicente del Bosque was also the manager of Spain; the interesting thing is Spain and Barcelona, while both possession-obsessed simultaneously, had different methods for obtaining results.
