Finally found some gloves that were 1) good for cell phone use and 2) actually fairly warm.

        http://www.amazon.com/Cyanics-Wizgloves-iPhone-texting-smartphone/dp/B006U3ZB0K/ref=sr_1_2?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1355499674&sr=1-2&keywords=wizgloves

Most of the others I've seen have been either too bulky or not warm at all.

Best gloves I came across. Made in USA and the quality is superb! I love my Churchill Maverick CS Short Wrist Deerskin gloves, unlined. Comfy, durable, great aging(only a year wearing them) and reasonably priced.

            http://www.jrcglove.com/classic.html

I got myself a pair of the forest green(use them every ride) and a seamless pair of cream(which I need to have tailored to my finger lenghth. Which they offered to do for free! I have to make sure they still will…I bought them about 6 months ago and asked about 4 months ago...

My goatskin Toy's McCoy gloves which I've been using for the past couple of years.  Very comfortable with great wind resistance and pretty good insulation.

My favorite pair. Good old deer skin unlined gloves. Churchill Maverick CS. Need to oil both of them. The cream pair is brand new.

Nice they are made here in America

I got a pair of Dent's Clifton unlined Peccary gloves that are a tad too big. Any way to shrink them? The thumbs are a little long and the fit around the wrists are loose.

I picked them up for $50 on ebay, originally $300ish so don't mind experimenting

                        Any suggestions?

Grifter sell a range of made in the USA gloves. They're designed for motorcycling, though I prefer my gear to be more technical.

I like the fabric and leather designs they offer.

Just got me some blue gloves form Churchill. More of a royal blue than dark Navy blue.

Grifter gloves are nice, just preworn, which is a required taste. I rather out the age in most of my gear.

Thanks folks - got my horsehide gloves in the mail today. Wow! These are one seriously nice pair of gloves. I'm sure they'll soften up and look even better with use and some war marks 😉

Hey everyone. I recently lost on of my gloves I bought like 8 years ago and am a little devastated, but that does allow for getting a new pair. I had some cashmere lined leather gloves that I can't even remember the brand or where I purchased (they even might have been a gift). Anyways I need something good for the winter for driving and walking around.  I know there are a few links in here with some places to look. But what I'd like to ask the stubborn crew is what exactly to look for in quality.  I want these to last just as long if possible. Thanks in advance for all your help!
