The upcoming draw tomorrow is a tough one. I also happen to like Bayern, I dislike Juve and really hate Barca. In the best of worlds Real would win against Barca in the finals, at the same time I think it's a bit boring when teams from the same league face each other.
But I guess Bayern vs. Barca would be fun, considering Pep would meet his old team.

The diving and play acting and wielding of imaginary cards to try and get players booked/sent off gets tiresome when it seems just as important to most of the players as playing high quality footy.
Barcelona's players are even worse, esp. when their team is not winning. I'm glad for every team that wins the CL this year as long as it's not Barca ;D.

Agreed. For me the appeal of the CL is to see differing styles go up against each other, although it is unavoidable that there will be some draws from the Q/F stage and onwards where two teams from the same league are matched up. That batch of Liverpool v Chelsea ties a few years back got very tedious.
I'm not too fussed who wins but just wanna see 5 matches of open, attacking football with less of the diving.

Well, Bayern are out of the German Cup, after a dismal show in penalties against Dortmund. No triple this year, guys…

I like watching both Bayern and Barca play, so the match is a win/ win for me. Not a fan of Real or Juve (not since the Zidane days of either) so no vested interest there at all.

I don't understand this (unfounded) hate towards Bayern. Maybe it's sorta lifetyle-thing to hate on what others hate?
I grown up and live in Franconia (a part of Bavaria) and it is a long tradition in my area (and no opportunism or fashion crap) - to "hate" these bastards.
But whatever … that's a Denim- and no Ultras-/ Hooligan Forum here.

Last night @Madame Buttonfly and I went to see a real game of football. none of this noncey Champions League crap. Yes it was Gosport Borough playing Sholing in the final of the Hampshire cup. It was played at Fratton Park, home to Portsmouth FC.
Look at how crowded it was…
