I've spent the last couple of days entertaining two American guests from my companies parent company, based in Los Angeles, who amazingly came over to learn from my vast experience (
). One of the dudes was a senior technical guy who was really interested in my jeans and boots, so over a few beers I told him all about the denim scene and where he could go to look at/ buy this stuff in LA (Self Edge etc…). He spent the following night in his hotel trawling Google and learning about the denim scene, and also worryingly looking into what I do ( :-\ ), net result of which is a free trip to LA for me later in the year under the illusion of "inspecting a production line".....sweet WHAT?!?!?!?! This is great news!!

Thank you dude, but staying a 2 and a half hour drive away from work may damage the illusion of it being a work trip

Take a weekend off afterwards pay your own hotel (aka @seawolf ) then fly back. It's what we all do when we travel OS :).
Exactly. @Megatron1505 You wouldn't come all the way to the west coast, and skip San Diego because of a 2 hour drive would you? I wasn't suggesting you commute each day dude. That's ludicrous. But come for a couple days afterwards. That's just good economics.

@Giles , can you believe it took this much convincing to get @Megatron1505 to come to America's Finest City?! Also, staying with Seawolf is a freakin' bonus in my opinion. He lives 1 block from the water! a ten minute walk to BEER and a 15 minute walk to FISH TACOS! I hear he's a helluva cook as well.
