This is a super fine poplin naval aviators jacket that I got off Rakuten last year. It's made by the French company Anatomica who do great small runs of vintage inspired classics. I noticed also that Kaptain Sunshine did a version as well. It's a perfect weight for life down here in the tropics.

Thanks Papa! Appreciate the lead. Great jacket. The Anatomica version looks quite a bit nicer than the Kaptain Sunshine, but it appears to be all sold out. No worries, I was able to identify a couple of the military models these are based on (M-421 A and an-j-2). That should help in locating a vintage or repro rendition. Thanks!

Yeah they are nice. I love this style of jacket. I'm having my tailor make one up for me at the moment out of Frogspot HBT. The Navy pilot overseas is such a great resource isn't it!

Just before Christmas I suggested to John Chapman that a leather version of an M421A could be interesting…
I really need to chase him up at some point soon. It's just that since I last discussed things I've moved out of London, and been in Germany, China and now Australia!
Absolutely! I love toying those sorts of ideas. I wanted to do the deck jacket in leather but with a shawl collar.

These Wescos are the Jobmaster lace to toe model made in rough out leather with contrast leather reverse side keltie tongue. These were made to my specifications using Iron Hearts fantastic ordering system. I gotta thank Dylan For switching me on though to this incredible service.
As for the caps the Avenger is a beauty but I also have the Catalina which is the denim version this is pretty sweet too. Both of these and others will be avail through Giles for the Northern Summer. As for winter in the Antipodes I've got stock of Convoy caps to go, in Deck watch Black and the all new Surf Blue colour, just hit me up and I'll get one to you ASAP.
