Tudor (i had Pam rolexes iwcs) the tudor is the best choice i prob ever did for the quality, wrist presence, heritage, buck etc imo. Of course all of them have a history (some of the famous radiomir were equiped with rolex movements in ww2 for the frogman blowing up the bridges etc) and cases are built extremely nice.
The tudor is my watch to go, for business, for pleasure, for all my activities. I am very very satisfied with the blue black bay

                        Cheers,

^^exactly what he said^^. I myself own PAMs and would if I can afford one, treat myself with a Tudor; the snowflake that is. Wont mind flipping my PAM for other brands but might keep the 000 just for the simplicity also because its my 1st 'expensive' watch.

@Finn666 go with a Panerai 1st just because you want to, then trade it for a Tudor when you feel like it. Win-win imo. 🙂

Rather than asking questions on an Internet forum where you'll get a bunch of random and not very helpful answers, go along to the local watch shops and see what suits. Panerais tend to be larger, and have a particular aesthetic, Tudors are smaller, with a different look. Get the one that speaks to you.

The thing is until you get them on your wrist, you don't know what you're going to like.

My preference would be something with an in-house movement, rather than a bought in one, but that's my OCD kicking in. The Panerai would win out there. But others don't see that as being important.

Everyone gets really caught up on case size. I've gone from wearing a 45 mm watch to a 35 mm piece, and after a few days of mental adjustment it looks fine. So don't obsess over one or two millimetres.

                                And, lastly, have fun. 😉

A watch purchase is so individual like you purchase a car or a house or anything actually. Going to some retailers makes fun

Here's the thing about watch porn on the internet: The photos are huge and often beautiful and filled with detail and light and texture you can never see with your eye. The watch on your screen is 25-40 times bigger and thus "shows" much more glamorously (like a movie star on the big screen) than it does when you hold it. So what attracts you to it online may only exist in your imagination for years to come–but that's ok. That's the essence of "image." And that type of thing may suit you. But if not, yes,  as said up above--have a look at real ones.

Finn you are a great guy, young, dynamic, Gentleman. I think you will make the best choice on any watch when you go handle them personally. You brought it down to two brands atm, maybe there are four you gonna like and at the end you going out with the best choice for you 🙂
I was some months without watch just me and my iPhone was cool too but nothing beats a nice mechanical watch on a guys wrist together with jeans, flannel, boots haha  😘
