That's sort of the problem.  I still really, really like it.  I just went on a tare last year and I REALLY love those watches!

Not even trying to fund a new acquisition, just thinking it isn't getting the wrist time it should and that I should move on… but I do still love it.

Sounds like you would be fine sitting on it for now.

I find that the usage of watches I have to choose from changes quite frequently. The Aqua Terra could feature more prominentlly in your future rotation.

There is no 'I' in team …............ however there are five in 'individual brilliance'.

I think that strap is excellent. Keep it on there for a while.

I'm too fickle and enjoy switching things around.  🙂  Plus changing straps is a lot cheaper than changing watches.

Haha, fair enough! Main thing is the watch after all and you've got a real gem there.

                  Hi all,

Does anybody know a good Japanese online shop where I can purchase a new Seiko Sarb033?

                  cheers

Tudor (i had Pam rolexes iwcs) the tudor is the best choice i prob ever did for the quality, wrist presence, heritage, buck etc imo. Of course all of them have a history (some of the famous radiomir were equiped with rolex movements in ww2 for the frogman blowing up the bridges etc) and cases are built extremely nice.
The tudor is my watch to go, for business, for pleasure, for all my activities. I am very very satisfied with the blue black bay

^^exactly what he said^^. I myself own PAMs and would if I can afford one, treat myself with a Tudor; the snowflake that is. Wont mind flipping my PAM for other brands but might keep the 000 just for the simplicity also because its my 1st 'expensive' watch.

@Finn666 go with a Panerai 1st just because you want to, then trade it for a Tudor when you feel like it. Win-win imo. 🙂

But in the end you can answer this question only yourself. Go to a shop like Bucherer for example where you can compare and wear models from both brands. And you get a nice chat and a good coffee too served by very nice sales staff 😉 🙂

Rather than asking questions on an Internet forum where you'll get a bunch of random and not very helpful answers, go along to the local watch shops and see what suits. Panerais tend to be larger, and have a particular aesthetic, Tudors are smaller, with a different look. Get the one that speaks to you.

The thing is until you get them on your wrist, you don't know what you're going to like.

My preference would be something with an in-house movement, rather than a bought in one, but that's my OCD kicking in. The Panerai would win out there. But others don't see that as being important.

Everyone gets really caught up on case size. I've gone from wearing a 45 mm watch to a 35 mm piece, and after a few days of mental adjustment it looks fine. So don't obsess over one or two millimetres.

                                            And, lastly, have fun. 😉
