I got to meet (and record) Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones and they were all just the nicest blokes. When TJ started doing his old female voices I could barely control the recording software due to laughing so much.

Honorable mention: Cameron Diaz. She and I used to get gas at the same station when she lived in my
area in the mid 90's. We were on a first name basis, so very nice, much like her character in the first
Charlie's Angels movie. -
Thats pretty awesome BH. She seems like she would b a nice person.

i was living in the east village and walked out of my apartment one day, and there comes Aziz Ansari down the street. I knew of only one thing to do, so I put my hand out for a high five without saying a word. He reciprocated, and then as he walked off i jumped in the air and said "tom haverford"
was a pretty good day

@TrickHell:
I'd probably die if I met Guns N Roses. They're pretty much my favorite band of all time.
random trivia fact:
duff beer in simpsons is named after duff mckagan who axel rose once called "the king of beers". He decided to calm down get sober and invest in a local book store, coffee shop and tech company. Those were Amazon, Starbucks and Microsoft.

Also met Vince Vaughan at the Local in Minneapolis. Great dude. Bought everyone multiple shots!

An old co-worker of mine here at the hospital dated Duff back in 1992, he came to pick her up from work
on a number of occasions. They met at AA. He was very nice and very smart, doesn't surprise me that he
invested in those companies. -
I love aziz! Dope he reciprocated the high 5

David Yow from the Jesus Lizard. I laugh every time I see this one. He was in town filming a movie, and somehow a buddy of mine that owns a dive bar convinced him to come in and tend bar for the evening. Me and my old boss showed up with a lot of expectations for him to be completely off the chain due to many stories we’d heard over the years. We sat at the bar and he poured us drinks for a few hours and was totally cool the whole time. When I was ready to leave, my buddy that owned the bar asked if I wanted to take a picture with David, so I figured why not. So as we’re getting ready to take the picture, David turns to me (I was quite drunk at this point) and starts telling me that he enjoyed talking to me all evening and that I seemed like a really cool person. This pic does a pretty good job depicting my utter confusion regarding the entire chain of events. My old boss, who is a huge Jesus Lizard fanatic and who was always trading insults with me, looked at me after this and said “I don’t even know what to say to you right now.” Ah, good times.

It must have been early 90s. WCW came to Europe for a few shows, and I used to work back then at Grugahalle Essen, a concert and trade fair complex. This was to make some money to survive, because young doctors back then earned only 1200,- Deutschmark per month .
Before the wrestling show started someone from the organization came up to me asking me if it's richt that I was a doctor. Nature Boy Ric Flair had injured his back while warming up and needed someone to have a quick look at him. So i examined the guy and decided it would be best to give im a painkiller injection to his lower back.
This must have been the only celebrity I personally met in my life, but I came very close
Ric actually was a very nice and funny guy… at least to me.

Just got off the plane from Berlin. Liz Hurley was sitting in the row behind us - though it took Paula to point it out to me.
And whilst musing to myself at how amusing it is that I never recognise anyone "famous", I remembered this one.
A few years ago, Paula and I were invited to the opening of a flash new store in London - wall to wall celebs. Anyway, I am not afraid or embarrassed to admit that I do like a bit of later Take That and solo Robbie Williams. Paula and I were swanning around drinking our champers and feeling very out of place..
G - "That guy over there thinks he's real big fucking deal doesn't he? "
P - "Giles, that's Robbie Williams" -
Nothing wrong with Robbie Williams G, pretty sure most blokes wouldn't mind being him for a day.
