Will be sure to do, with a few photos too! Thing weighs 4.6 pounds, it's certainly a great piece of work just looking at it!

I did pop it out and lunch, and I do have a few photos I'll get up later. For now, I will say it was worth every cent. The consistency of particle size and ability to adjust the grind is OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Added it was about 1/2 the time of all other grinders to grind the same amount of beans.

I'm sold big time, and not that I think I will ever need another grinder considering it's all steel/perspex, however, I would buy again!

Lido looks nice. Might get one of those if mine ever stops working.

Just came across this beauty. V60 in Copper. Kettle is nice too but I use an electric one. Def need to get one.

              Damn, that's nice.

                how "loud" is the hand-grinder @Snowy ?
i hate it when they're making too many noise while grinding…especially in the morning before going to work. mine sounds like hell!

@Finn666 it's quieter than both the Hario's and Porlex I've used. Not quiet, but sounds gentle and smooth in comparison…

                        ^really great article, thanks!

@Finn666 , if interested I can do a grind-off sound wise if you'd like? It's a lot quieter, 1/2 as noisy I'd say from feel?

Have just finished a 3 way battle between Porlex, Hario, and the Lido 2. 1.5GB worth of video heading up to Youtube now. With Australia's internet being so slow,it's going to take 6 hours to upload. Tomorrow morning my time I'll share the videos for you 😮

great shit wade @Snowy …thanks a ton for the great review. The lido is def the winner of this game...even though the price is a bit crazy (as with all good things) 😉

Yeah as I was calling it crazy good/expensive in the video I was thinking that's probably not right. It's worth what it costs. It represents the value of it's cost, so all in all it's kinda moot. The enjoyment of using it and how the coffee tastes has already exceeded any initial sting in purchase price….

Anyone else watch the review, out of interest??? 😛

Watched both reviews @Snowy & liked them. Had been  thinking about replacing the crap grinder I'm using  & hadn't considered the Lido until now. Thanks!

Thanks for the review @Snowy, very thorough, and great to see/hear the differences - Lido seems the obvious choice given it's more efficient and quieter

Thanks Gents, I was wondering if I'd just made a dedicated video for Finn, which would have been fine, but a little odd upon my reflection.

All the best (and still loving it!!!)

If you own the Bonavita 1-Liter Variable Gooseneck Kettle check the inside for rust or any discoloration. I noticed mine had some rust a few months ago. I did a little research and saw that it was a known issue. All I had to do was make a warranty claim to bonavita and show them pics of the rust. I received a new kettle today. To my surprise, it's a new larger 1.7L version. I'm assuming they are phasing out the old design. Anyways, great customer service. Also, they didn't mention anything about returning the old one. So if anyone wants it and is fine with having rust inside(not sure the health/taste issues haha) you can have it.
