IHW-01 (Melton Wool shirt)

Wore mine with a IH T-Shirt last night…

If I could wear wool everyday I would.  Such a versatile fabric. It showered briefly last night and the temp was about 95 degree F.  Wool t shirt dampened, prevented me from perspiring, then dried and it felt like it was 85 F.  Anticipating the Melton experience and can't wait!

dear fellow ironheart XLs who have the first IHW,

did you also get IHW-01 in XL?
i'm wondering how XL long sleeve shirts (IHSH-16, 22) fit under the IHW.

I am sitting on the fence on this as well.  Should we size 1 up to accomodate other IH LS shirts?

I normally wear Large in IH, so I went with Large in IHW01 as well.

Go for your regular size for layering over shirts, L/S chambrays and "lightweight/regular" flannel.

Size up 1 if you want to layer over your Super Heavy Weight IH Flannels.

I agree, I can layer an XL Melton over my normal XL shirts…Not that I bother that much, normally jut bung it on over a Tee...G

I have a M in the IHW-01 and wear M in all IH shirts.  The cuffs of the IHW-01 are a bit narrow to fit the heavy flannels under (and I have very skinny wrists).  Otherwise, it's fine for layering.

I have the IHW in L, and I'm an L in my other IH shirts… TBH I think you'd have to live somewhere really cold to layer up: Tshirt/flannel/IHW.

I've never needed more than Tshirt/IHW to be warm in almost any situation.
