@derivative666 : Snow!!!!
Nice new gloves! How do the Astis perform?
this is the review I wrote to Astis: I have owned many pair of Hestra ski gloves throughout the years. Don't get me wrong I really like Hestra however, they do not hold a candle to my new Astis Kibo's the fit and finish on the Kibo's is top notch. The suede is super thick yet supple. So far I have 3 full days skiing in them in sub 20 degree weather. My hands stayed warm but, we're not perspiring. I can tell these will only get better with hard use and time. I cannot wait to see how they will patina in years time. Do not be intimidated by the price they are worth it. Like any good leather item you get what you pay for.

I did not even see that review, but bought me and Paula a pair each on the back of D666's original post….
@steelworker is kindly helping me out with shipping etc. He opened the package and this is what he said…
"I don't know if you've only seen these gloves online but they're beautiful. The large are here first, the beadwork and color is fuckin fantastic."

Every year one of the local churches has a Christmas Tree festival. Local businesses/organisations can sponsor a tree and decorate it themselves. Today we too H and Sarina to check it out, there were about 80 tree's all told…

This was the Iron Heart one…
But my favourite was the one done by the local infants school. I will never think of Jesus in quite the same way now….

Yesterday. @Sarina & @Madame Buttonfly get to work on the tree….

All this excitement is too much for @Haraki-san

Great pics all around, especially the pics of the Christmas tree festival. The IronHeart tree looks great too, are those denim ornaments? Glad to see Sarina and Haraki having a good trip and wish all of the IH crew a Merry Christmas!
T&A, Emil is getting so big. It always amazes me how different kiddos look in such a small time! I think he will be rocking XS flannels in no time.

are those denim ornaments?
Yep, 21oz bonded back to back, cut out and then stitched around edge. Crude but cute….

More wine country. I think I'm Pinot'd out.
Barrel tasting helped me appreciate the final product a lot more.
The crazy French guy that owns the B&B distilled his own absinthe. We talked him into sharing a little.
The guy can seriously cook. This want the usual B&B afterthought food.
This morning was homemade fromage blanc with cream and berries. It was followed by a tomato volcano with spinach and potato cake. So freaking good.
