707 or 816 in grey. Still wishing I'd grabbed a pair of 702's. Grey duck would look awesome broken in too.

Hehe, faster than his shadow, G-San.  😉
              Is it the same fabric?
Don't think so …. because of the selvedge.
The fabric of the tanker looks very, very promising after wash.

Actually well spotted, no it's not.  But I though fuck it, it's close enough…....

                  Oh, those look interesting Giles!
If they had metal buttons they would be the selvedge khaki colored chinos I've spent so long looking for.
Even without metal buttons I would grab a pair of those fast.

They don't have metal buttons I am afraid.

11oz selvedge westpoint chino in khaki, beige & navy…

No worries, I am still very interested.
Assuming these are in production now, any kind of rough ETA?

They are not in production.  Haraki shows samples, he then asks for input.  For example one of the shirts he showed is a work, I felt it would be better as a western.  Then once we are decided on final details, I go and gather numbers, once I give him numbers we make the stuff.

The Chinos have a production slot planned and I expect to see them in Europe in early April.

                          Ah okay, that makes sense.
Thanks for the explanation, I look forward to these for next summer!

I have tried to do that in the past.  We have not been able to source ones that we like enough…...

If they did end up having metal buttons I would buy one of each color!

                                    N-2 deck jacket.

From a styling perspective, they are in the same league as the N-1. However, the materials on the originals were lacking. Because of this they are a seriously under represented jacket on the jp repro scene.

So keep the styling but use better materials. Maybe whipcord like the N-1 or Condura.

Also, moleskin anything (pants or shirts)

I agree about the moleskin (shirt preferably).

                                          Ventile cloth western shirt:
Sleek and shiny, cool in the summer, windproof, waterproof year-around, and generally awesome… Especially for riding… Just like a survival suit, but for westerners/bikers… 🙂

                                          +1 to the moleskin
