Just an update for those that keep asking about an overdyed denim jacket.
We're doing a modified Type III Iron Heart jacket in overdyed denim.
It'll be the same denim as the SEXIH07, super tight weave, fades very well, overdyed black.
The jacket will have hand pockets AND will be 2.5" longer in body length to accommodate those who are either tall or don't like to tuck their shirts in under their denim jacket.So when is this going to be available, sir? Please put me in the waiting list, preferably on top of it, for an L and and XL.

I loves me a Type 3, and have a few already…but longer AND with hand pockets is great thinking.Agreed. I think I'll have to jump on this when it comes out.

Look at it this way: tomorrow your denim will have been worn one more day, will look better and feel better. Just the thought of that should cheer you waaaaaayyyyy up.

call me a purist, but i do not think that type 3's, 2's or 1's should come with any more pockets on the torso than was originally there. that said, inner pockets i would be totally down with!

2016 edit: Totally retract this statement, as I bought the 3rd iteration of this jacket in December 2014! And I loves it.

Because there have been a few questions surrounding the 3 similar yet different IH OD Type III's, I thought this might help with any confusion about what makes each different.
SExIH07BKIII [OG] - Modified/ Overdyed Type III w/ Pockets. Diesel Patch. SExIH Collab came out in 2009 with the SExIH07BK and Indigo Jeans. Unsanforized 19oz Selvedge - Garment Dyed w/ Black Fugitive Pigment Dye.
SExIH07BKIII [Long] - Modified/ Overdyed Type III w/ Pockets. Diesel Patch. Extra 2 inches in length. Came out in 2011 (I think). Unsanforized 19oz Selvedge - Garment Dyed w/ Black Fugitive Pigment Dye.
IH-526Jod - Regular Type III Overdyed. No Pockets. No special Patch. 21oz Selvedge Indigo given the OD Treatment.

First post here, hoping the group or Giles might be able to give me some info:I'm trying to figure out if the color of the SEXIH07IIIBK2 http://www.selfedge.com/iron-heart?product_id=536 presents as "more blue" than the BSP-14 http://www.selfedge.com/iron-heart?product_id=1872&category_id=62, which I currently have, and is quite black.
Sorry for the Self Edge links here, but I'm referencing the colors in these images.
Put another way, is the SEXIH07IIIBK2 as blue appearing as it is in the Self Edge images? Both the images of the BSP-14 and the jacket itself are black, and I'm looking for a jacket that is more blue.
Thanks for any input on this.
