finn put a picture in here from the instagram feed for the most reason Viberg boot. they are getting better make-ups ever trip, now i just have to figure out how to get them for less than the crazy japan mark-up

they are getting better & better. they have a way of getting into a certain last & then running with it for a few months, or maybe it's me. fingers crossed I will see these or something close for sale on the local market soon . . .

I'm on the other side, I think Viberg desperately needs a designer and that they miss far more than they hit.

see what you mean Bags. they check almost all the boxes for me.
only complaints are the toebox looking slightly turned up & the lack of the pull at the rear of the boot.

The way I look at it: Just look at the Bootery's builds. Pretty much every single one of them is better IMO than almost all of designs I've seen from Viberg in some time. Their take on an Edward Green Galway for example is pretty damn ghetto looking IMO: Viberg shouldn't look like a "poor man's" anything. My favorite I've seen on their Web site (non-collab) is this gem.

thanks finn. great looking boot & I just wanted it on this page. the Viberg backlash for lack of a better term is funny 2 me. what G$ like 2 say, "if u no like, no buy" or something close 2 that. i concede fuzz that sometimes things r off, but usually good things come from giving new "things" a try. it's always easy 2 take the easy route, it's just with the internet we all tend to notice what companies are doing more than ever before.
well at least i do. 5 or 10 years ago if you told me i would be looking at collections of boots & denim I would of laughed at you . . .

Exfeckinxactly - no one (to my almost certain knowledge) is forcing any of us to buy anything. And how effing boring would the world be if we all liked the same thing…..Celebrate diversity...

I have Vibergs, I'm certainly not shooting spitballs at them from the back of the room. I'm frustrated by their designs because they make some of the best shoes in their price bracket. I'd love it if they made something I'd buy, and I am just expressing that I don't think Brett Viberg is a very good footwear designer.
