Good to hear.  It's a nuisance, but manageable nonetheless.  Keep up the good work.

wow G, you don't do things lightly. Wonder if anywhere in your past it's surfaced for a bit and receded, only to come to a head now. Can't wait to see you back in that wetty now you know you can manage and move forward, carefully, of course!

I have had one and off issues with my back/spine since my early 20's.  Pain will come and then go again within a day or 2.  This time is different, it will not go away, hence me going for expert advice….

3 or so miler planned for Sunday, then a week later is the swim itself...

It's all that time spent craned over a sewing machine. You've heard of tennis elbow? Well G just invented "hemmers neck".

I wouldn't be so sure about that young Megatron1505.

@Winchy is the only person that really spends any quality time with me nowadays so I expect that G-san's back problem was caused by hunching over that young hipster-tart of a Macbook Air that he's always prodding away at.

OK so ours was.  You take a numbered ticket upon entry to the ticketing office., and wait patiently for your number to be called out.  We were #5.  As you will know, just about every Japan Rail employee is shadowed by a trainee.  So we are sitting there and #4 gets called.  No response from customers.  Trainer looks at trainee with mild look of panic.  #4 gets called again, still no response.  Panic levels rise.  #4 gets called again, no response.  Melt down beginning to occur.  They go to back of office and ask boss what to do.  Boss gives them some advice.  Trainer and trainee, then come to our side of the counter and approach everyone who is waiting and ask if they are #4.  No one admits to being #4.  Back they go to speak to boss and ask him what on earth they should do.

#5 gets called.  This has now wasted a good 5 minutes - incredible.
