I have a pair of these….still quite dark...but so beautiful....darkest richest indigo ever....gonna wear them more when it gets cooler.

These pants are dark, heavy, very tight weave - they are probably bullet proof - only some hardcore wear such as Fanya provides could shred these britches as shown in his pics.

I wear mine 1 out of 2 days all winter, and have since November 2012. They look near brand new :o

Glad it's not just me… mine also look brand new.  Which is OK - they are fantastic, and I like the ultra dark denim.
